Picton Maritime Festival
The Picton Maritime festival celebrates the unique maritime heritage of Picton in a free, fun environment. Get involved in local food and drink from our region, enjoy live music, craft stalls, raft races, bouncy castles and more on the Picton foreshore topped off with a spectacular firework display!
Marlborough Wine & Food Festival
Festival-goers will get the opportunity to sample a unique selection of world-class wines, enjoy delicious local cuisine and dance to their heart's content with music from some of New Zealand's top bands all in the heart of one of Marlborough's oldest and most picturesque vineyards, Brancott Vineyard.
The Whitehave Graperide is a recreational road cycling event which circuits through some of most stunning scenery New Zealand has to offer. Fantastic post-ride celebrations include a selection of great food, wines and craft beer. Catering for everyone from the serious to the not-so-serious bike rider.
Yealands Classic Fighters at Omaka
The Classic Fighters Airshow has a proud history of entertaining large numbers of visitors with cleverly themed airshows dating back nearly two decades. In years past, the event has paid tribute to the ANZACS, to Aviation in the Movies, to 'Racing through Time' both in the air and on the ground, along with many WW2 theatre-themes such as France, North Africa and Italy.
Saint Clair Vineyard Half Marathon
Challenge and enjoy yourself at the most unique, social and picturesque running event in NZ. On the second Saturday of May each year, entrants have the opportunity to run / walk through privately owned vineyards by producers such as Cloudy Bay, Wairau River and of course Saint Clair Family Estate.
From the hunters and gatherers to the food lovers and chefs, everyone in Marlborough has their own memories of good food enjoyed with family and friends in their favourite spot. Feast Marlborough celebrates those food stories with a four day food event that brings local people, produce and culinary talent together, to share with food loving visitors hungry to learn more about our stunning region.
Every year they bring a fabulous collection of plantspeople, artisan vendors and garden product stalls to the Garden Fete. ‘Eat Street’ will offer its delicious food options, and there is a wide variety of highquality stalls selling an outstanding selection of items for the garden and gardener.
